Vote

Voting is one of the most important ways you can make your voice heard—and this election matters.

Whether you’re voting early or on Primary Day, we want to make it easy for you to have a plan and get to the polls.

Find Your Polling Place

Every voter has a designated polling location based on where you live. To find your precinct and polling place, visit the South Carolina voter portal:

👉 Find your polling place and voter information

Be sure to double-check your location before heading out, as polling places can change.

Early Voting

Early voting is a convenient way to cast your ballot before Primary Day—no excuse required.

  • Dates: Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, June 5 (no weekends)
  • Hours: Typically 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary by location)
  • Locations: Available at designated early voting centers across the district

Voting early is fast, easy, and helps you avoid lines on Primary Day.

Election Day Voting

If you prefer to vote on Primary Day:

  • Date: Tuesday, June 9
  • Time: Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

If you are in line by 7:00 PM, you have the right to vote.

What to Bring

South Carolina law requires a valid photo ID to vote. Acceptable forms include:

  • South Carolina Driver’s License
  • Other state-issued photo ID
  • U.S. Passport
  • Military ID
  • Voter Registration Card with Photo

If you have questions about ID requirements, be sure to check ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Make a Plan to Vote

Don’t wait until the last minute. Decide today:

  • When will you vote?
  • Where will you vote?
  • Who can you bring with you?

Every vote matters—and your participation helps shape the future of the Lowcountry.
